Rocketeer Replica

Acme Design sells replica castings of the helmet and rocket pack costume props from the movie "The Rocketeer". The owner made molds of these items from stunt versions of the props he bought at auction. He even had a stunt version of the harness the rocket pack is attached to. Multiple employees had tried to duplicate the harness for the company to sell to fans of the movie. An outside person was also hired to try to make a version, but when it came back it was well below any standard of what a replica should be.
I went in and made flat patterns from the original stunt pack. I sewed a muslin mock up to ensure the pieces fit together. All pieces of this pack are made from 100% real leather and cowhide so there was only once change at cutting and sewing. All of the pieces were sewn on an industrial machine. Some of the pieces, like the front of the pack, had leather wrapped around a thicker hide.
As far as I know I made the only replica version of this pack sine it turned out to be not worth the time or money to mass produce.
