Absolut Vodka Oversized Bottle Display

The goal was to design and create large scale vodka bottles for Absolut that embody the purity of their ingredients (water and wheat) and a flavored vodka (lemon).
The bottles were to travel to corporate events around the country, so the designs had to withstand movement and human interaction.
The wheat bottle is the second wheat bottle I designed and had approved. The wheat (Yes-its real!!) in this bottle is hand glued on a foam structure and gently undulates around the bottle. The bottom of the bottle has a wheat crown sweeping around it.
The first bottle I designed was deemed too fragile after the first few events; so more stability was put into this variation.
This is the third variation of the lemon bottle. The first variation included real lemons on a spiked bottle skeleton. This led to health and safety issues.
Next whole fake lemons were poured into a vacuum formed, hollow plastic shell. The look still wasn’t right.
I re sketched a design that featured fake whole lemons mixed in with fake lemon halves and slices. An additional core was placed inside the vacuum formed shell to help hold the lemon pieces in place and to cut down on cost.
From a distance you would swear they were real!
