Gilda is a larger than life 9' tall sculpted giraffe made for Anthropologie's holiday window. During the pandemic we wanted to give the customer a warm, cozy and whimsical environment to bring cheer during such a trying time.
After the holiday season Gilda was donated to The Sock Monkey Museum in Long Grove, IL. The Sock Monkey Museum holds the Guinness wold record for most sock monkeys under one roof.
Gilda is also featured in "The Art Of Anthropologie Book" in the chapter that talks about how displays live on in their communities after use.
