Sun Flower Window

For Summer of 2023 Anthropologie decided to bring back a customer favorite; the Earth Day window. This season the sunflower was chosen as the theme and was to be composed of paper, twine and seed paper. The notion being that after the life of the window customer could purchase the flower pieces and possibly plant the seed paper to start their own garden.
Hand dye twine was fashioned into a "loom" on the wall which the deconstructed sunflowers sat. Multiple dye baths were used and papers ranging from water color to vellum to add depth and texture as the petals migrated inward.
